The Putney Huddle invites you to join us for an evening of remembrance for those we have lost in our lives and communities to overdose death
Friday, August 31st from 6:00-7:30pm on the Putney Common
We will have speakers, music, and a candle light vigil. There will also be an opportunity for those who have lost loved ones to share a photo, brief story, or artwork. Education materials will also be available and donations accepted for Turning Point of Windham County.
International Overdose Awareness Day is a global event held on 31 August each year and aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It also acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have died or had a permanent injury as a result of drug overdose.
