Where is Big Falls, you ask? Here you go!
It's off River Road in North Troy and is definitely worth a trip! It's at approx. 1150 River Rd in North Troy. It's actually a State Park, but has no signage. If you drive down River Road, there is a pull-out that you can park at and then walk up the slope to look down (very far down - a dramatic drop off, so watch your footing!) at the Falls. The place where we are having a the gathering is down river from the overlook - a dirt road with an open gate across it just downstream (north) from the overlook leads to a nice open field and a really lovely swimming hole.
