Hi neighbors! Vermont River Conservancy is hosting its second annual River Gala in the Mad River Valley at Knoll Farm this weekend! Friends of the Mad River is a partner with Vermont River Conservancy, a non-profit protecting land along rivers throughout Vermont, and we'd be excited if you joined us in supporting VRC this weekend! On Saturday, August 25th, you can expect a fun evening of food, drinks, fundraising, music, and good conversation about your favorite Vermont rivers (the Mad?!) and swimming holes! Enjoy a sampling of creative appetizers while taking in stunning views and supporting the work VRC does to protect the special lands along our rivers throughout our beautiful state.

Why: Get dressed up, eat delicious food from Bon Temps Gourmet and Vermont Creamery, enjoy drinks, music by the Anthony Santor Jazz Trio, a beautiful setting and good conversation all while learning about what the Vermont River Conservancy is doing to conserve the rivers you love. Every ticket holder gets a chance to win incredible door prizes, including a private swimming hole tour next summer with you and your friends, led by David Hajdasz, author of Take the Plunge: A Guide to Swimming Holes of Vermont!
