Come explore one of the wonders of the Missisquoi River! The Upper Missisquoi and Trout Rivers Wild & Scenic Committee is hosting a Wild and Scenic Gathering at Big Falls in North Troy this Sunday, August 26th. Enjoy this free and family-friendly event from 11am-2pm: join guided nature walks (birding, forest ecology, aquatic insects, and more!), test your bravery with rope climbing adventures, do crafts and activities, learn how to paddle a canoe, play games, and enjoy live music in this incredible location! Come dressed to get in the water - there's an awesome swimming hole adjacent to the field where the Gathering will take place, and you can access the area below the falls to get a spectacular rivers-eye view of them!
