How should the public be involved in school board decision-making? How do we make one community out of six towns? How can the school board find out what the community feels about any given topic — now and into the future?
The school board has recently hired consultants to help answer these questions and more. Our first step is a one-hour kick-off conversation on August 29th in the Harwood Library at 6pm. Pizza and childcare will be provided.
The 6pm event is designated specifically for the consultants to hear from the public about their hopes, dreams, concerns, and expectations for community engagement with the school board. After a short break, the consultants will have a similar session with school board members. Public is welcome to stay to observe that session as well.
If you are a parent, taxpayer, business owner, grandparent, or resident in any of our 6 towns, your voice is important! Please come and share your thoughts and help us move forward as thoughtfully as we can.
