Roundtable Discussion with Visiting Russian Students

Past event
Aug 23, 2018, 7 PM

Three visiting Russian students would enjoy a round-table discussion with any interested residents of the valley. They are university students on a 3-week program which focuses on Ecology and Environmental Sustainability, although they have varied professional interests. Of course they have a deep understanding of their own country, and want to learn all they can about ours. They all speak and understand English easily. Please come for an interesting and informative evening of questions, discussion and learning.

The meeting will be at 7pm, Thursday, August 23. It is hosted by IDEAS, the creativity and knowledge hub, located at 182 Mad River Green, Waitsfield, next to the former Butchery. For any questions, please contact Bill Barnes by email (barnes@clarion.edu) or cell phone (814-227-5472).

Aleksei Dembrovskii is a Computer Science major at Novosibirsk State University (southern Siberia).

Anton Senin is from Irkutsk, the Lake Baikal region of Siberia. He is majoring in Strategic and Operational Management.

Ismail Iiumaev is from Kalinograd, the eastern-most region of Russia. He is studying at Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University majoring in Bioengineering and bioinformatics.
