Carlene Squires leads your Community Senior Centre hike this Tuesday, August 21: Beane Trail in Huntington. Meet at 9:00 AM at Volunteers Green in Richmond to carpool. It is three miles round trip. The first 1/2 mile is flat then climbs gently and steadily to Birch Glen Shelter. This Shelter is located on the Long Trail and was built in 1930 by the Green Mountain Club. Pack snacks, water, rain gear, hiking poles. Rain will cancel the hike.
