Hi Colchester Middle School Families and Community:

We will be working on the Colchester Middle School this Sunday at 10am until 2pm in the gardens near the side entrance to make it more friendly for the kids as they enter the building. We welcome any help with planting as well as donations of plants, shrubs, and rich compost or manure soil to help with the successful planting. The kids will really appreciate the lively color and beautiful plants each year for years to come. They already think life is dull and boring :-), we can show them it's not!

If you have any overgrown plants that you want to divide to donate I will gladly pick them up Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning before we start. We did this for Porters Point School and it was a great success and it was so uplifting to give the kids, parents and teachers a nice, colorful garden. Please consider donating a colorful plant or shrub to help to brighten up the CMS side entrance that is used by the kids.
