The next meeting of Shelburne's Planning Commission will take place on Thursday, August 23rd. And as part of the meeting, the Commission will again be soliciting public on the latest draft of the 2019 Comprehensive Plan. The Commission will also be discussing possible zoning changes. Shelburne's Planning Commission has been working since February of 2017 to prepare a new Comprehensive Plan. (You can obtain a copy of the draft at https://goo.gl/M4KWhg or by visiting the Town web site.) The Commission is inviting residents, business owners, and others to share their opinions about the draft at comment sessions to be held at the Shelburne Town Offices located at 5420 Shelburne Road.
There will be two opportunities to comment on the 23rd. The first will be between 3:00pm to 5:00pm, while the second will be from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Topics to be featured on August 23 will include :
• Transportation
• Historic and cultural resources
• Housing
• Public Facilities
• Energy and
• Telecommunications
