Join wildlife biologist Dan Lambert on a guided search of Paradise Park for signs of animal activity. Deep winter is the best time to locate tracks and trails, flocks of resident birds, and the homes of woodland critters. Participants should dress warmly and expect to encounter moderately challenging terrain and/or footing. Snowshoes are required, with a limited supply available for loan. Group size will be limited to twenty, preregistered participants. Children ages eight and above are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Call the library at 674-2556 to register and email Dan to reserve a pair of adult or children's snowshoes at dan@highbranchconservation.com. We will meet at the County Road entrance to Paradise Park at 10AM to start the walk. This is a Windsor Public Library event paid for by a Vermont Community Foundation Small & Inspiring grant.
