Past event

Do you know little or nothing about the Bible? Have you ever wondered what all the fuss is about the Bible? From classical art to modern politics to strange predictions about the end of the world, this ancient collection of texts and its characters are woven into the fabric of western civilization.

"Exploring the Bible / What is the Bible" is a six session study (1.5 hours each) being offered over twelve weeks this fall. It is designed to teach (not preach) about the Bible and its contents. For people of all faiths or no faith, this educational study covers the bases from reading the most common stories and passages to learning the history and process behind the compilation of the Bible itself. If at the end of this course enough interest is expressed there will be two additional more in depth courses offered, one on the Old Testament and one of the New Testament.

This first six session study, What is the Bible? Is being offered at the Deborah Rawson Library meeting room in Jericho beginning Sunday, September 23rd at 6:30 p.m. every other week for six sessions A minimum of 8 with a maximum of 15 students are required. If interested or would like more information please either email or call me at 899-3093.
