Baptisms in the Lamoille River
On Sunday August 26th at 12:30pm the Waterville Union Church and the Second Congregational Church in Jeffersonville will be holding a a riverside baptismal service at the Dorothy Smith Fishing Access.
All are invited to participate with us, and anyone who wishes to be baptized may do so. There is no need to be a member of the church or to pay for the service; we affirm that all people are loved by God and deserve to be a part of God's club.
For this reason we invite anyone who wishes to be baptized to join us at the Dorothy Smith Fishing Access at 12:30pm on Sunday August 26th.
For those attending we suggest bringing a lounge chair, a swimsuit and towels to dry yourself. If you wish to bring a lunch you are welcome to do that as well.
For those who want to be baptized but do not wish to be dunked in the river; we will be doing baptisms by sprinkling as well.
Just as God welcomes all people into a life of peace and love we at the Waterville Union Church and Second Congo Jeffersonville welcome all of our brothers and sisters in the community to join us in a celebration of peace and love on the 26th.
