As you know, pets are considered by many to be part of the family. Unfortunately, when abuse happens within the home, animals often suffer as well.
The link between animal abuse and domestic violence are clear. Umbrella's Paws for a Cause event seeks to put a spotlight on this connection by celebrating the positivity animals bring to our lives through a community- wide family friendly event on Saturday, September 15th at 10 am (registration opens at 9 am) in Bandstand Park in Newport, VT.
