Middlebury is throwing its 2nd Annual Downtown Block Party in the street!

This Wednesday, August 15th, Main Street in downtown Middlebury will turn into a park from 4:00-8:00pm with giant lawn games, kid's activities, food, live music by the Horse Traders, sod in the street and lots more. Downtown businesses will stay open until 8:00pm, many offering various sales, pop-ups and tastings. And, customers who spend at least $20 at any downtown business on 8/15 can bring their receipt to the raffle table at the event to enter to win raffle prizes totaling $2,000 in value. (Take a free ACTR shuttle from the Mary Hogan parking lot and receive an extra five raffle tickets!) After the party, the community is invited over to College Park for a free showing of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul as part of the Midd Summer Music & Movies Series. The movie will begin shortly after 8:00pm.

Please be advised that Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 2:00-10:00pm on the afternoon and evening of August 15th from Merchants Row to Mill Street. Mill Street will remain open for the duration of the party so people can utilize the Frog Hollow parking lot.
