The Groton Recreation Committee invites you to come join us for a fun evening dancing to latin music and learning basic steps for merengue, rumba, mambo and salsa on a gigantic wood floor. No partner needed. Instruction from 6:30-7:30 followed by open dancing until 9:30. Fresh local snacks and refreshments provided by MyFarmersMarket and Mountain Man Pizza. The Groton Community Building and environs is an alcohol free area. However, on all Saturday Latin Dance nights the nearby (east of the Community Building on south side of 302) My Farmers Market store/Mountain Man Pizza restaurant will be offering local craft beers, ice ciders, fine wines, and meads for consumption on the premises. If anyone should have a particular wine or beverage in mind, requests can be made in advance by calling 584-9900. Enjoy a leisurely meal al fresco on the deck (or inside) in a convivial atmosphere before the event, dining on scrumptious specialty pizzas, wraps, subs, and salads with fresh local meats, veggies, and breads. For future Latin Dance Nights in Groton save these dates: September 15th, and October 20th.
