The Montpelier Death Cafe will have its Thursday night August meeting this Thursday, 8/16, from 5:30-7pm in the back room of the North Branch Cafe. All are welcome who come with an open mind. Because the North Branch is kind enough to let us use the backroom for free we ask that you consider buying some of their delicious tea, wine, or goodies while you are there.

What is Death Cafe? Most people think about the end of life, dying, and death but don't feel like there is a place for them to share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas. Death Cafe is part of a international movement to normalize talking about death and dying by creating community gatherings where participants are encouraged to share their thoughts on the subject and anything related. The Montpelier Death Cafe meets twice a month on the second Friday of the month at The Montpelier Senior Activity Center (58 Barre St) from 12:15-1:45 and the third Thursday of the month at The North Branch Cafe.
Our September meetings will be Friday, 9/14 and Thursday 9/20.
