One lucky attendee will walk away with a free Soil Saver backyard composter (additional compost bins available for sale, $45 each).

We will discuss:
-Act 148 (Recycling and Composting Law)
-What is compost?
-Composting considerations (site layout, bin choice)
-Compost "recipe", 1:3 ratio of "greens" to "browns"
-The science of composting
-Troubleshooting your compost pile.
