Old Schoolhouse Alumni Day & Community Celebration
Saturday August 18, 2018 from 11AM to 2PM
Wolcott Town Offices & Rail Trail Gazebo
We have a growing list of Silent Auction items for this Saturday's fundraising event. Come on down to the Wolcott Town Offices tomorrow to vote in the Primary elections. While you're there, place an early bid on the bid sheets of your choosing. We'll wrap up the bidding at the end of Saturday's festivities. You do not need to be present to win your item, but you might be outbid if you're not! Another reason to attend the event: there may be more surprises to add to our auction before Saturday!

OUR MISSION: Founded in 2003, the Wolcott Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history and culture of Wolcott, Vermont. The Wolcott Historical Society is collaborating with the Old Schoolhouse Restoration Committee to restore the historic Old Schoolhouse for community use.
The Wolcott Historical Society is collaborating with the town's Old Schoolhouse Restoration Committee to raise funds for beginning the restoration efforts on our lovely old schoolhouse in the School Street Historic District of our town. Because we do intend to seek grant funding opportunities, it is important for us to demonstrate community support for our project.
On August 18, 2018 we host our first fundraising event, which includes a silent auction, a box lunch picnic, music, and more. We have established an online presence to advertise our cause, and we hope to also create a means for residents and non-residents alike to contribute to our cause via an online platform.
