Join the Marlboro Historical Society for a wonderful walk in a part of town settled in the 1700s. Marcia Hamilton will take us to two old cellar holes, those of Clark Winchester and Ezra Thayer. Clark Winchester is brother to Marcia's third great grandfather. This walk is about a third of a mile down a portion of the discontinued roadbed of Jenne Road. There are rocks on washouts and brush, but it is walkable. It is recommended you wear long pants, sturdy shoes and guard against ticks, flying bugs, and the sun. Meet at Newton House at 9:00 AM sharp and we will carpool to Jenne Road. For questions, call/text 802 490-0347 or email m8rcia@gmail.com.
