Don't miss a sweet and spicy evening at the Grand Isle Lake House when Island Arts presents the Vermont Jazz Ensemble, a 17-member instrumental group swinging in the Big Band tradition. Their repertoire also includes Latin, rock, fusion, and pop. The Ensemble is comprised of five woodwinds (alto, tenor, and baritone sax — whose players also double on clarinet and trombone), four trumpets (doubling on flugelhorn), drums, bass, piano, and guitar.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door (children 12 and under are free). Advance sales are limited to 100 to assure seating under shelter in case of inclement weather. Grounds open at 5:30 for picnicking; ImSabai Thai Cuisine will be on site with delicious Thai food available for sale.
