The Castleton Community Center Bocce Club held a clinic on Monday Aug 6 at the home of J and MJ O'Day on Rt 4A.

It was so much fun. 12 people attended and we played bocce for a few hours. We learned the rules while sharing a few good laughs ! There will be another " learn to play " clinic on Monday August 13 @ the O'Day Residence.

I suggest interested people meet at the Center around 6:15 and car pool to avoid a parking issue at John's home.

The plan is to develop our club over the next few Mondays and then set up regular matches this fall and maybe even a round robin tournament for those more competitive souls. Hope to see you all then.
