It's that time of year again! Albany Day (Labor Day) is fast approaching, so it's time to dust off the ole parade float and buy a few hundred pounds of candy.
The 2nd Annual Albany Day Parade is seeking the following participants:
- Vintage cars and trucks
- KIDS on bikes, trikes, scooters, skateboards, pogo sticks...(costumes + guardians encouraged)
- Musicians
- Farmers + farm animals
- 4 wheelers, motorcycles + tractors
- Local business owners + organizations of all types and sizes: Consider making a float or decorating a truck!
- Artists
- Big rigs: excavators, dump trucks, etc.
Line up on Water Street at 10AM. Kids and music up front, big rigs and ambulance crews in back, everyone else in the middle. Parade starts at 11AM. Stick around for chicken dinner, live music from Beg, Steal, or Borrow, horseshoes + more at the church!
