After two and a half wonderful years living in Moretown, Assistant Librarian Meredith Whitney is ready to set off on a new adventure. We will miss her friendly ways, love of books and connection to the community and wish her the best in her future endeavors. Join us at an Open House next Thursday 8/16 from 5-7pm to celebrate all she did to keep the library running, and always with a smile!

From Meredith: Working at the library offered me the connection to my community I was looking for. It gave me the opportunity to meet my neighbors and engage in community events. I will miss the excitement when someone would pull into our teeny tiny parking lot and I'd get to discuss intriguing books, invasive species, or the local goings-on with one of our kind patrons. Seeing a smiling face walk through the library door always makes my day. In my travels, I'll be lucky to find another town like Moretown - where no matter how rural and quiet it may be, people are always friendly and quick to help a neighbor in need.
