The Montpelier Death Cafe will have its monthly Friday meeting this week (August 10th) at The Montpelier Senior Activity Center (58 Barre Street) from 12:15-1:45 this is a free event and all are welcome to attend.
Death Cafe is part of an international movement to normalize talking about death and dying. Most of us think about death and dying, or have fears and concerns about it, but our society often doesn't make room for us to share those thoughts. Enter Death Cafe, a community gathering for people to share their thoughts about death, dying, and anything related in a respectful environment. You can learn more about Death Cafe at DeathCafe.com

We're also looking for a new facilitator for our Thursday night meeting. Please let us know if you are interested in becoming a community facilitator!
In addition to our Friday meetings on the second Friday of the month we also meet on the third Thursday of the month from 5:30-7pm at The North Branch Cafe (41 State St) that meeting is Thursday, August 16th.
