Hot on the heals of a smash three night run of a stage adaptation of "Jaws," Phantom Theater bounces right back with a week of dance performances. On Monday and Tuesday, August 6 and 7, come on up to Edgcomb Barn on Airport Road in Warren for a collaboration between choreographers Isadora Snapp and Bridget Wheeler called "Catching a Glimpse," which touches on memory, honesty and sexuality with additional dancing by Ally Baitz, Ashima Fillbach, and Noah Witke. Tuesday night's show opens with a site specific improvisation directed by Hannah Satterlee
And on Wednesday and Thursday, dancer/performance artist Noah Witke steps up to present his own show, "Life as Performance," for which he weaves words, images and dance in an evolving meditation on growing as an artist, queerness, and the absurd. He'll be joined by Camille Casemier and Anna Martone, who'll present "Honey and Her Moon," a mix of live performance and projection in a collaboration investigating the relationship of the moon to its shadows.
All shows are at 8pm. Tickets are $15 for "Catching a Glimpse" and $12 for "Life as Performance/Honey and Her Moon." They can be reserved by calling 496-5997.
