The Essex Selectboard will have a regular meeting on Monday, August 6, at 7 p.m. at 81 Main St. The meeting includes the following items:

- Public to be heard
- Setting the tax rate for fiscal year 2018/2019
- Presentation and acceptance of a report summarizing public input about the Town's firearms ordinance
- Selection of an attendee for the Vermont Community Leadership Summit
- Approval of minutes
- Consent agenda, which includes approval of check warrants
- Review of items on the reading file
