Vermont's Primary Election will take place on Tues., August 14th. This is your opportunity to help decide which candidates will be included on the November General Election ballot. If you haven't registered to vote yet, you can do so:
- in person at your Town Clerk's office during regular hours;
- online at https://www.olvr.sec.state.vt.us/;
- at the polls when you go to vote on Election Day.

There is no party registration system for Vermont voters. You may vote in only one major party's primary election (Democratic, Progressive or Republican), but only you will know which party's ballot you voted.

You may request an absentee ballot in person or by phone from your Town Clerk's office, or online at https://mvp.sec.state.vt.us/; or you may vote early during regular office hours anytime prior to the election.
Voting locations and hours on August 14:
Hardwick - Memorial Bldg., 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Stannard - Town Hall, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
