From your Market Manager Rachael Moragues…….
A mix of "real" Vermont summer weather is predicted for this week's Peacham Farmers Market, along with the wonderful music of musician Barry Hayes.

This week at your Market August 2nd:
• Bailey Deutsch of Harvest Magic Kombucha from Cabot will have kombucha ,organic eggs, vegetables/greens, herbs and flowers.
• FAWN (recent addition to Peacham) who made her debut at the Peacham Town Picnic will be doing face painting.
• Farmer Brown - Annette Brown of Farmer Brown will be joining Peacham Farmers Market this week with a variety of local wholesome goods including grass fed beef, produce and even soaps! We are happy to welcome Annette and her family to our market this season! Stop by her table to find out more about their CSA and the full list of products they offer.
• Hooker Mountain Farm Distillery – Returning is Carrie of Hooker Mountain Farm Distillery right up the road from here outside Cabot. So very excited to have these guys on board! I spent about half an hour looking through their wonderfully written and informative website and encourage you to do the same...perhaps with a glass of their fine spirits in hand! "Fresh farm raised grains and potatoes form the base for everything we bottle."
• Mike and Laura Heath - Many of you know Mike and Laura but did you know they make honey? Come by the Town Table this Thursday and pick up a jar of your own along with honey comb and propolis!
• Wilder Farm – Jess and Justin offer fresh and fantastic, locally grown produce with all the quality and charm you can expect from a 200 year old family farm to see what they're all about! Jess will have Roberta's Crooked Mile Goat Cheeses and Spreads.
• Cross Farm – Top quality, certified organic lamb, pork and chicken sold at a fair price from Zach, one of your friendliest neighborhood farmers. Click here for my favorite lamb recipe. https://www.anediblemosaic.com/arabic-stuffed-zucchini-kousa-mahshi/
• Barnet Mountain Meats – Lori Wright will NOT be at the market this week but look forward to seeing her plus her bacon and pork products next week. Have you tried her 'Little More Smokey' bacon? Learn more about it and the important role time plays in achieving the perfect piece of bacon by watching Barnet Mountain Meats Video Profile. https://youtu.be/LGRvi_b46Ck
• Martha Becker – Martha is off adventuring so will not be at the market this week.
• Artesano – Nichole and August make ice cream that is so delicious. They are back at the market this week. Each week they offer specialty flavors.
• The Polish Princess Bakery – Magda (the Polish Princess) makes bread so wholesome, so delicious and so authentic it will feel like you're shopping in Europe! One of her customers even told me that she had never had a baguette so true to what you can find in a classic French Boulangerie anywhere on this side of the Atlantic! Magda's breads will be available at the Peacham Town Table. Come get yours early before they sell out!
• Gordon Goss – Gordon's back with his syrups and other maple products. Come see him and be sure to pick up a bottle of Gordon's premium Vermont syrup. (your pancakes will thank you!).
• Tanika and her crew at Nacho Mama's Tacos have become a Peacham staple. Her tacos are too good to pass up! My favorite is still the blueberry bbq pulled pork with artisan slaw and sriracha alioli. For you non meat eating taco fans, she has seitan tacos too. Gracias Tanika!
• Bob the (arrow) Builder a new member of our community would love to introduce himself and his wares. Stop by for a conversation.
• Alexis Savino will again be showcasing his leather goods; http://www.TheKingdomArts.com
• NEK WASTE MANAGEMENT will be present talking about recycling and composting..

Children's Corner:
Each week at Peacham Farmers Market we will be featuring special activities for our town's smallest residents. Rose Dedam will lead the kids in some Vegetable Bingo and read garden stories to a whole herd of anxious little ears. She'll be back at it this week with Patrice! They'll have bubbles, hula hoops and stories plus more outdoor fun for the kids. Come, hang out and Free Range Play. Patrice will have her I SPY table with new treasures to find!

Community:
Peacham Farmers Market's mission is to support local business and bring attention to the wonderful things happening right here in our community. One of my favorite things about summer in Peacham is our acoustic music festival, PAMFest! This year's performance lineup is incredible and as always there will be jam tents, workshops, dancing, activities for children, a Craft Market and that good ol' festival feeling spread throughout our dreamy little village August 17th and 18th. Come say hello to Frank and Patrice at the PAMFest information tent this week and check out this year's T shirts.
