Public Talk: Stalking and Victims Rights

Past event
Aug 14, 2018, 6:30 to 8 PM

I invite you to hear me speak on August 14th at 6.30 pm a the Waitsfield UCC, Village Meeting House. I am going to be speaking at the 44th Annual National Organization of Victims Assistance later in the month in Florida and humbly ask you to join me as I prepare for this national opportunity.

I will be presenting my story and criminal case to hundreds of service providers from across the world at the NOVA Conference. I have been a victim of stalking for the last seven years, and still am, by a man I do not know. This crime resulted in me moving to the Mad River Valley and shifting my career to victim services. My presentation shows how incredible victim service providers have, and continue, to fight to get prosecution and help me find voice in the darkness. I will also be representing my business, Stand Up Resources and the Center for Crime Victim Services at the conference.

I would be greatly honored to share this presentation with my new community! Maxine Grad will be in attendance as well to answer questions about stalking laws and services in Vermont. Please join me for an evening of learning about victims rights, stalking, and the impact crime has on individuals: August 14th at 6.30pm the Waitsfield UCC, Village Meeting House located at 4335 Main St. Waitsfield, VT.

Please feel free to contact me directly for more information.
