Join the Fairbanks Museum for a Star Gazing Party that's out of this world!
It's just around the corner! On Friday, August 10th, the Fairbanks Museum will host the St. J Subaru Stargazing Party featuring the Guinness Record attempt for the Largest Astronomy Lesson in the World! We're closing down Main Street in front of the museum and inviting 1200+ of our closest friends to celebrate all things space! Science educator Bobby Farlice-Rubio will be perched on a two-story stage to lead us in a record breaking lesson. Meteorologist Mark Breen will cap off the night with a live on-site broadcast of VPR's Stargazing Party.
Come eat from some of the finest food vendors in the area, take in a special Planetarium Show before the attempt and then be a part of history as we bring the record home to St. Johnsbury!
Activities begin at 5:30, participants must be in the ticketed area by 7:30.
