Rich Roberge will be leading your Community Senior Center kayak outing Thursday, August 2 on Lake Champlain to the Lamoille River starting at the Sandbar Wildlife Management Area. Meet at 8:30 AM at Richmond Volunteers Green to carpool or at 9:00 AM at the Sandbar Wildlife Management Area across from Sandbar State Park. Bring a lunch or a snack, about three hour trip. Directions: Take Interstate 89 North to Route 2, exit 17 – Milton / Lake Champlain Islands. Bear right off the exit and head west on Route 2 approximately 6 miles until you see the Sandbar Wildlife Management Area on your left – across from Sandbar State Park.
