As part of its 65th Anniversary celebration, the Reading Historical Society welcomes Michael Tougias to the RHS Museum on Friday, August 3 at 7 pm to present "400 Miles Down the Connecticut River." During this talk, Michael will discuss the river's history from the logger days, Indian Wars, steamships, and canals. This program is sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council. The museum will open at 5 pm for anyone that would like to come and tour the exhibits before the program. It's also a good time to go to the other events happening on this First Friday in Reading.
The museum building is the former Reading Christian Church building located at 670 Rte. 106 We hope to see you there.
