On Thursday Aug. 2nd from 3:30-4:30, Marv Klassen-Landis will visit Castleton Free Library on Main Street for a CLiF storytelling event and free book giveaway, where each child in attendance may select two brand new books to take home. CLiF's Summer Readers grant supports summer programs across Vermont and New Hampshire to keep reading a part of children's lives during the school vacation. The Children's Literacy Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire a love of reading and writing among children up to age 12 in every region of the Twin States. Since 1998, CLiF has served more than 180,000 low-income, at-risk, and rural children in 400 communities. Free and open to all.
