Grace Episcopal Church continues its Summer Music at Grace concert series with music from David, Permelia, and Rebecca Sears this Friday, August 3, at 7 p.m.
This special performance features Grace Church's historic 1833 Erben Organ, which underwent major restoration in 2000. Grace's Erben has been recognized as a National Heritage Organ and designated a Landmark of American Organbuilding by the Organ Historical Society.
The program includes the music of a wide range of composers from the 17th through the 21st centuries, from Boyvin, Moffet, and Pachelbel to Foote and Sears. David and Permelia Sears, organists, perform widely throughout New England. Rebecca Sears has performed as a violinist in numerous orchestras.
Admission is by donation. Proceeds from this concert benefit the Sheldon Food Shelf. We are very grateful to the Sears family for their generosity.
Grace Church is wheelchair accessible and open to all.
