A mash-up program in our "Libraries Rock!" Kid's Summer Reading Series at Castleton Free Library: clay meets rock music. School-aged kids are invited to come learn some pottery basics (through stories and demos) and then create their own pots while listening to rock music (we'll talk about that, too). Free! Note: this program was originally scheduled on a different date.

Reminder - bring your reading sticker charts if you've been tracking kids' summer reading, and collect stone sample rewards! It's not too late to start reading and building a rock collection - your child may choose a sample for every 3 books he or she has read or listened to.
