Quality time. Quality interactions. Rich multicultural human-to-human connections. That's what events at the intimate magical setting of the historic Barn House are like. Join us this Saturday at 3 PM for the second of our five-part speakers' series "To Sing of Common Things: The Voices of Young People in 2018." This event will feature Lena Ginawi and Kiran Waqar of the award-winning slam-poetry quartet "Muslim Girls Making Change". We'll hear what inspires these brilliant young performing artists to create and use the spoken word to touch hearts and to advocate for causes that are important to them. Spoken word artists Rajnii Eddins will host this event and facilitate a thoughtful discussion after the presentations by the speakers. This event is FREE and to ensure the quality of this experience, seating is limited to 35 people. Advance sign up is required.
