Volunteers wanted to clear the trail at Pownal's Clayton Park from Lincoln Street to the river. The Pownal Recreation Task Force and HooRWA plan to make the trail to the river open to Pownal residents again.

Come together at 9 a.m., Saturday, August 11. Bring shears or weed whackers or your hands to pull weeds, mostly Jewel Weed. Gloves and tick spray always advisable.

Clayton Park is located along Lincoln Street, which is the first street on the right after passing the Solomon Wright Public Library, before the bridge. Please park on the west side of the road only.
