A representative from the State of Vermont will be at our February meeting to discuss our compliance standing with the EPA Disinfection Byproduct regulation. This important determination plays into our final decision to either proceed with the water system improvements this spring (GAC filtration system) or to put the plans on hold because our water is not out of compliance with the EPA regulations and we therefore are not required to upgrade the system at this time. We encourage all GICWD members to attend this meeting to gain background and insight into the issues facing GICWD. The meeting is Wednesday February 12th, 7pm at the Fish Hatchery.
