There's a wonderful event Thursday at the Old Labor Hall. La Soirée Sucrée, an evening of delicious dessert from Delicate Decadence and music performed by Michèle Choinière, an award-winning Smithsonian Folkways recording artist. Born into a musical Franco-American family in northern Vermont, Michele began performing traditional Franco-American music at an early age with her father Fabio, an accomplished harmonica player. Dessert is served at 5:30 and music begins at 6:00!

Tickets can be purchased at Delicate Decadence, at the door or call Joshua from the Barre Partnership at 477-2967. $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Children 12 and under $6.
