In S.P. Monahan's screwball comedy, "Aunt Jack", Norman's grown a little distant lately. After a sudden series of anxiety attacks, he broke up with his long-time boyfriend Ian and moved clear across the country, leaving his fathers George and Jack and mother Phyllis in a tizzy. With George – a prominent gay activist – in failing health, Norman has returned home to make things right and to introduce them to his new partner, Andy. Let's just say she's not what they expected….. Directed by Gene Heinrich (St. Albans), featuring Randolph resident Jeff Tolbert in the title role, plus Tristan Goding (Rochester), Susan Loynd (Fayston), Joshua Huffman (Randolph), Nimue Washburn (Stockbridge), and Bob Carmody (Charlotte).
Playwright S. P. Monahan will be attending this performance. Right after the play there'll be a talkback, for audience members to ask questions of and make comments to S. P. as well as to the actors and director. This will be followed by a complimentary reception, to meet and greet the ensemble and enjoy homemade goodies.
Tickets will be available at the door, as well as online at www.chandler-arts.org or by calling the Chandler box office (802) 728-6464.
