Thursday, July 26th at 7:00pm in the Peacham Library Community Room: This summer, the Peacham Library's popular annual summer speaker series explores "The Art of Storytelling", showcasing the diversity of methods and mediums that can be used to convey narrative or emotional arch.

This Thursday, Erica Heilman, producer of the award-winning podcast Rumble Strip, will be the second speaker in the library's summer series. Erica will lead a conversation about the finding and making of stories using sound, including lots of audio samples from her work. Her podcast, which airs monthly on VPR, features the extraordinary lives of ordinary people - mostly Vermonters - including some local voices.

The Peacham Library Summer Series continues on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm in the Peacham Library Community. All series events are free (although donations are accepted and welcomed). Coming up, don't miss the final two events in the series:
