Celebrate Barre's Quebecois Heritage with sweet desert competition and tasting at 5.30 and lively Franco-American by Michele Choiniere music at 6.00. Contestants should bring their handmade French desserts to Delicate Decadence, 15 Cottage Street, Barre by 4:00 pm or to the Old Labor Hall, 46 Granite Street, by 5:00 pm, on July 26. No late entrants will be allowed.

Award-winning Smithsonian Folkways recording artist Michele Choiniere, performs traditional Franco-American and Quebec folk songs, original compositions, jazz standards, and an occasional French classic.
