Not sure who the gubernatorial candidates are, or where they stand on issues that matter most to you?
Rights & Democracy Education Fund, along with a score of other statewide, nonprofit advocacy groups, will host the candidates seeking the state's highest office in a special gubernatorial forum. All candidates have been invited.
Organizations and audience members will be asking the hard questions on policy, ethics, and the issues that matter most to Vermonters. This is one of the last opportunities before the August 14 primary to hear important details from the candidates before you decide who will earn your vote.
Who: This forum is being coordinated by Rights & Democracy and sponsors include Vermont NEA, Vermont Interfaith Action, ACLU VT, Justice For All, 350 Vermont, Our Revolution, and Vermont Center For Independent Living.
When: Sunday, August 5, from 3PM-5PM
Where: City Hall Auditorium 100 Main St. Albans
Facebook Event: https://www.facebook.com/events/507922186328533/
Democratic candidates Brenda Siegel, Christine Hallquist, James Ehlers, are confirmed and will be available to answer our questions about what they'll do for you and Vermont as governor. We've also reached out to candidates Ethan Sonneborn, Keith Stern, and Gov. Phil Scott to attend.
