The Pownal Democratic Committee will meet to hold a Town caucus on Saturday, August 4th, at 10 a.m. in the Solomon Wright Public Library to nominate candidates for the position of Justice of the Peace.

The Town of Pownal has 10 Justices of the Peace serving until 2019. Nominees do not have to be members of the Pownal Democratic Committee, but must not have participated in the caucus of another party. 0nly Pownal Democratic Committee members may vote, those who have not attended the caucus of another party .

Individuals who wish to be considered for the position of Justice of the Peace do not have to attend the meeting, but should notify the Committee chair: raymond_rodrigues@msn.com . To be nominated, you must be registered to vote Democrat.
