The collaborative duo, DanielRose Projects, has been creating a new dance work in the Mad River Valley. "Duration and Respond" premieres at Phantom Theater (Edgecomb Barn) Saturday July 21st and Tuesday July 24th at 8pm. Tickets $15, call (802) 496-5997 to reserve in advance.
The pair will also be hosting a community class on Sunday, July 22 from 12-2pm. The artists, Sarah Rose and Ross Daniel, will guide the class through a series of movement improvisations followed by group discussion. Participants then respond to these movement improvisations through mixed media art making. The class is open to all bodies, no prior movement or dance experience necessary. Participants are encouraged to bring crafting materials. Daniel and Rose are interested in working with local artists working in any medium: visual art and design, music, movement, craft, and writing.
