Fermentation Class

Past event
Aug 1, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Aug 3, 2018

Hello Neighbors!
I am teaching the class "Living Foods: Fearless Fermentation from Farm, Field, and Forest" at Sterling College's School of the New American Farmstead. We'd like to offer local residents in the immediate Craftsbury area (including Hardwick, Greensboro, Albany, and Wolcott) a 50% discount in order to make it more accessible for our neighbors. With the discount, the class will be $225 per person. All materials and meals in Sterling's award-winning dining hall are included.

This 3-day workshop will be a delightful fermentation frenzy! Participants will learn how to make a wide variety of ferments, and will leave the workshop with jars of fermented goodies, including kraut, kimchi, homemade yogurt, kombucha (with your own SCOBY/mother), sourdough starter, and more. Plus everyone will get the knowledge and confidence they need to ferment on their own. Check out the description here: https://sterlingcollege.edu/course/living-foods-fearless-fermentation-farm-field-forest/

You can contact me directly with questions and to request the special locals discount code.

Thanks!
Nancy
