On Saturday, a portion of the proceeds from every book sold at Barnes and Noble when referencing the fundraising code 12382941 will benefit the Imagination Library Program, which provides free books to Burlington children on a monthly basis, from birth through age 5! This program is free to any child who is signed up! You can buy in person this Saturday or you can buy online at https://www.barnesandnoble.com/ from July 21-July 26. Just reference 12382941 to make sure a portion of the proceeds go to this great cause. There's no cost to you!
The Imagination Library program (https://imaginationlibrary.com/) was founded by Dolly Parton to benefit kids in her hometown, but has spread throughout the US and abroad. Locally, the program is sponsored by the Burlington Sunrise Rotary Club, and we will have a table set up in the store this Saturday to answer any questions and hand out cards with the benefit code. Pete the Cat will be there, too!
Some of the kids who benefit from this program would not have books at home otherwise, so save your book list and visit us on the 21st to help this program, or visit https://bn.com between 7/21-7/26.
