WDEV AT THE WATERBURY HISTORICAL MEETING
The Waterbury Historical Society will hold its summer meeting on Wednesday, July 25, rain or shine, beginning at 6pm with a Pot Luck dinner at the Hope Davey Shelter in Waterbury Center. Bring a hot dish or salad to share. Drinks and dessert will be provided.
The program about radio station WDEV starts at 7pm. Steve Cormier, the new general manger of WDEV and the Radio Vermont group, will discuss his background and vision for the radio station.
On-air veterans Joel Najman and Jack Donovan will talk about music and its connection to WDEV, especially the musicians who have been a major part of the station's history including the Pony Boys, Radio Rangers, and Banjo Dan.
