This pollinator loving steelband brings the plight of the honeybee to the bandstand with energy and big sounds, performing a wide repertoire of bee-theme tunes - including "Flight of the Bumblebee" by Rimsky Korsokov! Hardwick based Caja Madera throws down authentic street tacos from the freshest ingredients. Eat tacos, "bee" happy!
If you would like to participate in a brief skit dramatizing Colony Collapse Disorder, please call the Jaquith Public Library by 5pm on Wednesday afternoon (426-3581). We are looking for 6 - 10 "Bee-friendly" people to make this happen, and you will receive a call on Wednesday evening to confirm your costume size - all ages welcome! There will be a brief rehearsal and costume provided between 5 and 5:30pm on Thursday, just prior to the steelband performance.
