The Stranahan Town Forest Stewardship Committee in Marshfield is Seeking Public Input on Draft Vision and Actionable Strategies

The Town of Marshfield will be hosting a public workshop to explore the vision and strategies for the Virginia Stranahan Memorial Town Forest on July 24 from 7-8:30pm in the Old Schoolhouse Common in Marshfield Village. Feedback from the community was collected in a public workshop and online survey earlier this year, and this has been incorporated into a draft vision and actionable strategies for the town forest.

The Stranahan Stewardship Committee is now seeking community input on the draft vision and help with prioritizing the strategies. Anyone who uses or wishes to use the town forest is invited to participate, regardless of residency. In particular, the committee is seeking a diverse range of ages and interests for input. In the interest of getting participation from families with children, in particular, childcare will available by request ahead of time; to request childcare, please email committee member Sarah Fowler at fowlerfarm@myfairpoint.net.

Please come out and give us your ideas.
